Ralf Toenjes is an internationally recognized social entrepreneur, named by Forbes as one of Brazil’s most promising leaders on the Under 30 list and awarded Social Entrepreneur of the Year (Under 35). He is a United Nations Young Leader for the SDGs—one of only 17 chosen worldwide—and was recognized as a Global Influential Leader by AACSB and as Health Chair of Brazil’s National Youth Council. Ralf holds degrees in Business Administration and Economics from Insper and Law from USP.

As Co-founder and President of Renovatio, he leads one of Brazil’s most impactful organizations, eliminating barriers to eye care and eyeglasses access. Renovatio’s mobile eye clinics have reached over 500,000 people across Brazil, Mozambique, Haiti, India, and Guinea-Bissau. Ralf also co-founded Juntos Pela Visão, a national alliance dedicated to transforming eye care in Brazil. Beyond social impact, he teaches ESG at Insper and has spoken at the World Economic Forum, TEDx, and other global stages. A Fundação Estudar scholar, Ralf was invited to lunch with Warren Buffett, highlighting his growing international influence.
