Resti has a Bachelor of Public Health, a Master’s Degree in Epidemiology, and a Master's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety from the University of Indonesia. She lives in Jakarta, Indonesia, a country where more than 280 million people live with their diversity.

She has served in the Directorate of Non-Communicable Diseases for more than 14 years, and for the last 10 years, she has been focusing on the prevention and control of sensory and functional impairment. She is also active in joining projects and collaborating with several INGOs in the field of eye health.
