With a strong focus on inclusivity, innovation, and collaborative problem-solving, Mehran has dedicated his career to building resilient, patient-centered eye care systems in Pakistan and beyond.

Since joining SIOVS in 2017, Mehran has implemented pioneering projects that directly contribute to the advancement of global eye health. Under his leadership, SIOVS adopted the Peek software-powered solution, which has expanded comprehensive eye care services across Sindh province.

A highlight of Mehran’s achievements is his role in deploying Peek Capture technology in more than 5,700 schools, establishing connections to over 80 health facilities and transforming eye health access for young populations. This network screened over 1.3 million people and referred more than 150,000 individuals to specialized care, reflecting Mehran’s dedication to impactful, community-centered healthcare. His contributions have earned recognition from Pakistan’s National Committee for Eye Health as a district model, underscoring his influence on the future of eye health in Pakistan and beyond.
