Dr Elanor Watts studied BMBCh Medicine at the University of Oxford, and MSc Public Health for Eye Care at the International Centre for Eye Health, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine
Dr Elanor Watts studied BMBCh Medicine at the University of Oxford, and MSc Public Health for Eye Care at the International Centre for Eye Health, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, receiving the Hooper and Gordon Johnson prizes for highest GPA in school. She works clinically in Ophthalmology in Scotland, and received the Royal College of Ophthalmologists Elizabeth Hunt medal for refraction.
She has worked with Peek Vision as a research consultant since 2020, with a focus on near vision screening and presbyopia correction; and with the Livelihood Impact Fund Eyeglasses Initiative as a technical advisor since 2023. Elanor has a special interest in improving global access to presbyopia correction, in line with the WHO SPECS 2030 Initiative.
