Mr. Gorkhaly, Graduated from Delhi University, India and holds Master of Business Administration and Master of Development Management from Asian Institute of Management, Manila Philippines.

Mr. Gorkhaly, Country Director of Eye Care Foundation Nepal has been working in eye care sector since last three decades. Graduated from Delhi University, India and holds Master of Business Administration and Master of Development Management from Asian Institute of Management, Manila Philippines.

With his long standing experience and expertise, he has been actively involved in different Eye Hospitals in Nepal. He is a board member of Himalaya Eye Hospital, Pokhara. He was instrumental in establishing Mechi eye hospital, Jhapa and represented ECF as one of the board member in the hospital. He is the Treasurer of Nepal Eye Hospital, the oldest eye hospital in Nepal. Anil also represents in the High-Level committee of Eye Health, a national level steering committee under the leadership of Secretary Ministry of Health and Population.

He attended short course on Eye health and VISION 2020 planning at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Management training for Eye Care Manager from LAICO Madurai, India. 

He was awarded at the Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology assembly meeting held in Busan South Korea. APAO presented him with the Outstanding Service in the Prevention of Blindness Award-2012 recognizing his vast contribution in the field of preventing and curable blindness.

Anil served as Country Manager for Eye Care Foundation, Cambodia for two years and now he is responsible to supervise and monitor the Eye Care Foundation programs in Tanzania.
