Over one billion people around the world have poor vision without access to treatment. It holds them back at school, at work and at life. Yet, we know that 90% of sight loss is treatable and preventable.
Worldwide steps are being taken to ensure no one is being held back because of poor vision. But there is more work to do.
We are calling on all governments, businesses and decision makers to give access to eye health services to all by making eye care accessible, ensuring sight tests are available, and making glasses affordable.
