Lunch and refreshments will be provided to all attendees at the conference venue during breaks on both days of the event. Please ensure you specify any allergies and dietary requirements upon registering for your place at the event.
We would also like to invite all attendees to an IAPB drinks reception on the evening of Wednesday 30 April. This reception will be a great way to network and continue the transformational conversations from the first day of the event.
There is no dress code for 2030 IN SIGHT LIVE. However, we’d encourage attendees to dress as they feel comfortable and recommend smart or smart-casual attire.
The currency in Nepal is Nepalese Rupee (NRP). Nepal is a closed currency country, Nepalese Rupees will need to be obtained upon arrival, there are many places to exchange currency, including at the arrivals and immigration area of the airport. Please be aware some places, including taxis and smaller restaurants, only accept cash payments.
Kathmandu, situated at a comfortable 1,370 meters (4,344 feet) above sea level, offers a pleasant climate year-round. April is a popular time to visit, with daytime temperatures ranging from 25°C to 30°C (77°F to 86°F). Evenings cool down to a comfortable 5°C to 10°C (41°F to 50°F). While the monsoon season begins in June, it's wise to pack a light raincoat.
